Auremont’s atelier work exists because the metal already does. A commissioned piece is fabricated from bullion drawn from our own book, so the chain of custody that begins at a licensed site does not end at the vault — it continues onto the certificate that travels with the finished object.
We work to commission and in small numbered series. We do not operate a retail store, we do not wholesale, and we do not fabricate from metal of unknown origin, including client-supplied scrap without documentation.
Four ways to commission.
One-off commission
Designed from a brief, modelled and hand-finished as a single piece, with the client present at the wax and setting stages.
Numbered editions
Small runs of a signed design, individually numbered and registered, for maisons and private clients.
Wearable bullion
High-purity 24k chain, bangles and pendants priced against the LBMA fix plus a published fabrication charge.
Rework and reset
Existing pieces reworked or stones reset, with the recovered metal assayed and credited against the invoice.
From brief to hallmark.
Every commission runs through the same five stages, with an approval gate at each one and no work commencing on the next until the previous is signed off.
Brief
Purpose, wearer, budget and metal specified in a single written brief, with a target delivery date agreed.
Design
Hand sketch followed by CAD, reviewed in a printed resin model before any metal is committed.
Metal & stones
Bullion allocated from our own book; stones sourced with GIA or IGI certification and Kimberley documentation.
Fabrication
Cast or hand-fabricated at the atelier, set and finished by the same bench through to completion.
Hallmark & dossier
Assayed and hallmarked, then delivered with the origin dossier of the metal and certificates for every stone.
Every piece carries
its own record.
Each commission ships with a dossier naming the producing region and licence reference of the gold, the refiner that processed it, the assay result, the certification of every stone above 0.30 ct, and the atelier and bench responsible for the work. Stones are sourced under the Kimberley Process with GIA or IGI certification; we do not use undisclosed treatments, and any laboratory-grown stone is identified as such on the certificate and on the invoice.
